IT'S NOT A FREE PROGRAM

Students and parents are reminded that this program is NOT FREE, highlighting the lesson that "nothing in life is free." Participants learn how their skills and time invested can create income opportunities for themselves and support the program.

They also gain insight into the costs of running this advanced media program and the potential returns on their investment for their future. Each student must register for a membership card and pay the monthly fee independently from their parents.

K-12 students are assigned classes and projects that enable them to earn money, preparing them for entrepreneurship, which is credited to their membership cards to offset program fees ($7 or $14) and necessary equipment (cameras, laptops, travel, clothing, etc.).

All students are regarded as active entrepreneurs.

**Phase-One Programming** This phase will focus on students who exhibit these qualities early on. We are seeking students to lead, scale, and grow the centers worldwide to address our 12 IMPACT 5024 Challenge Areas.

About the Carolina Media Arts Academy

The Carolina Media Arts Academy

Certifies students in Communications

Serves the Community nonprofits and small businesses

Provides funding and media services for the community.

To Provoke Great Minds, In Great Students

The Carolina Media Arts Center provides students with the opportunity to participate in a range of projects designed to identify and develop their abilities. After identifying individual strengths, the program assigns real-world projects to help students achieve their objectives. These assignments are intended to support career exploration, and the program offers resources for further advancement.

We aim to empower students to lead their own projects. Through internships or part-time roles, students can work on initiatives that impact individuals, organizations, and communities.

Mission

To provide the physical tools, equipment and experience necessary to prepare each student to communicate, understand and use technology and determine an enjoyable career that works with their natural gifts.

Program Goals

1) To make it possible for all participating students to graduate high school and enter college knowing their major and career path.

2) To provide career and business startup opportunities for young adults after high school.

3) Each student will produce a personal documentary on his/her life & future. This project will prepare the student to effectively communicate and give them the presentation skills for any career-choice that they desire to seek after. Through their work on their documentary, students will develop a love or disinterest for the occupation they are pursuing because of the research, personal interviews and complete understanding of the commitment and personal sacrifice it will take to become successful in the particular field they are documenting.

BRANDING MY FUTURE

Helping students to discover, understand, brand, and work towards God-given purpose, gifts, talents, and passions

Branding My Future

Regardless of the field of study, talent, or gift, it's essential to clearly express, visualize, and have a practical plan, resources, and vision to pursue or work in that area. Branding My Future empowers students by utilizing media arts tools and platforms to showcase their gifts and talents in action. Students are not required to pursue a career in the media field. Instead, they can leverage these tools to articulate their visions and passions.

Our Students are Entrepreneurs

Anyone with passion, dedication, and a willingness to work hard can become an entrepreneur, as there are no specific age, education, or demographic requirements. Successful entrepreneurs are generally defined by their mindset—resilience, creativity, and problem-solving skills—rather than innate, magical talents. Key steps include identifying a problem, researching, and taking calculated risks.
